We’ve got a few other surprises up our wizard sleeves and look forward to an evening of catching up with old friends and making a few new ones.

Join us for the second annual Cooking for Culture Community Bake Sale—a celebration of the recipes, traditions, and cultures that immigrant and refugee communities have brought to Colorado.

Trần Nguyễn-Wills — Denver City Council District 2 candidate, daughter of Vietnamese refugees, and community outreach worker for the City of Denver — will table at Cooking for Culture, sharing Know Your Rights kits for immigrant and refugee neighbors. If elected, Trần would be the first Vietnamese American on Denver City Council.

The tables at @joyridebrewing will be filled with baked goods from local bakeries and restaurants, and 100% of proceeds will support two organizations making a meaningful difference right here in our community:

🤍 @rmian_org provides free immigration legal and social services to children and detained adults.

As these organizations face growing demand and shrinking resources, every cookie, croissant, and cinnamon roll helps make an impact.

Join us! Tran will be an emcee on Sunday, August 30, at Sloan's Lake for Colorado's annual celebration of Asian and Asian American heritage — featuring the LARGEST Dragon Boat Festival in the U.S.!

Join us Sunday afternoon, September 6th from 12pm to 3pm at our house in Harvey Park. Co-hosted with my neighbor Shelved by Amanda and Janey Le of Moffee Coffee, an AANHPI woman owned matcha and coffee pop-up based here in Denver.

Bring up to 3 gently used cookbooks and take home up to 3 new ones. Meet other cookbook lovers and swap the stories tucked inside those pages.

Cooking together, sharing a meal, gifting a book. These have always been small acts of resistance. Someone chose those words. Someone decided they mattered enough to write down. Right now, books are being pulled off shelves and voices are being silenced. A cookbook may look simple, but it holds culture, heritage, and memory, proof that what matters to us doesn't vanish, it gets carried forward. Food and knowledge are sacred, and every recipe we exchange is an act of generosity and preservation.

Space is very limited, so reserve your spot soon. A $20 donation is suggested to support the campaign.

Your visit includes coffee and matcha from Moffee Coffee and pastries, plus a chance to hear about my vision for District 2 and to be in community together.

Stop by and Say Hi! at our Tran for Two booth at the Far East Center Mid-Autumn Festival in Denver's Little Saigon district is a free, family-friendly event featuring Asian street food, cultural performances, and a night-market atmosphere.

This group print show is our form of protest.  Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) has shown up for patients across Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico for decades, and this show is our way of standing with them.

Every movement needs artists. Before policy changes, before people show up to a march, someone makes the image that moves them to go. Art builds the will to fight, and gives people something to hold onto long after the protest ends.

We dream of a future where marches, sign-making, and this fight for basic human rights are no longer necessary. Until then, every print sold goes straight to PPRM, funding the health care, education, and advocacy this fight depends on.
